Tehya Jemima Holcroft - On Holiday In Spain 2007Tehya sailed from Plymouth to Santander on the 4th of July, traveled down to her great grandparents on the east coast of Spain Xabia and returned home to Cornwall on the 24th of July.
Dénia is on the Costa Blanca halfway between Alicante and Valencia.
The ferry to Ibiza and the other Balearic Islands departs from Denia.
Nearby is the popular resort town of Javea.
Xàbia or Jávea is a coastal town located in the comarca of Marina Alta, in the province of Alicante, Spain by the Mediterranean Sea. Situated behind a wide bay and sheltered between two rocky headlands, the town has become a very popular small seaside resort and market town.
Altea is a Valencian town, located in the province of Alicante, Spain, north of Benidorm on the Costa Blanca.
It has a maze of cobbled narrow and crooked streets with glimpses of the bay. One of the places of interest is the church of La Mare de Déu del Consol ("Our Lady of Solace"), easily identifiable by its picturesque blue and white ceramic glazed domes.
Burgos has many sites but the three most outstanding are the cathedral, with its chapel of the Condestables de Castilla, the monastery of Las Huelgas and the Carthusian monastery of Miraflores. It is an amazing place very much worth a visit.
